Effects of Chitooligosaccharides on Seed Germination of Cucumber

Using different concentrations of olig chitosan to treat cucumber seeds and seedlings, it is concluded that chitosan oligosaccharide can promote the germination of cucumber seeds at low concentrations, and the optimal concentration is 0.1mg/L. The test results also show that low concentrations of oligochitosan have an effect on the growth of cucumber seedlings. It has a promoting effect, so that the growth indicators of seedling plant height, leaf area, root length, etc., are significantly increased compared with the control; the chlorophyll content, net photosynthetic rate (Pn), stomatal conductance (Gs), and transpiration rate (Tr ), the intercellular CO2 concentration (Ci) is significantly increased; the stomatal limit value (Ls) is significantly reduced. High concentration (100mg/L) chitooligosaccharides inhibit the growth. The optimal chitosan oligosaccharide concentration to promote the growth of cucumber seedlings is 0.1 mg/L, the effect of 2 administrations is better than 1 administration.
