1. Promote the proliferation of beneficial bacteria in animal intestinal tract

The vast majority of animals have no enzyme for digesting chitosan oligosaccharide in the digestive tract, chitosan oligosaccharide can completely reach the hindgut, and most of the chitooligosaccharides are selectively utilized by beneficial bacteria in the intestinal tract, thus promoting the mass reproduction of beneficial bacteria; Neutral bacteria and harmful bacteria (Escherichia coli, Salmonella, etc.) cannot utilize chitosan oligosaccharide, and will be inhibited by chitosan oligosaccharide, thus playing the role of beneficial bacteria proliferation factor and improving the gastrointestinal health of animals.

2. Adsorbing and removing intestinal pathogenic bacteria

The cell surface or villi of pathogenic bacteria (Escherichia coli, Salmonella, etc.) have protein-like structures, called Lectins, which can combine with receptors on the cell surface of intestinal inner wall to adhere to intestinal epithelium for reproduction. However, the structure of the receptor on the cell surface of the intestinal inner wall is the carbohydrate structure with short chain branches. Therefore, chitosan oligosaccharide will competitively combine with the Lectins on the cell surface of pathogenic bacteria to prevent the adhesion of pathogenic bacteria on the intestinal epithelium, so as to obtain no nutrients and lose pathogenicity.

3.Promoting the growth of animals
